Still in the project phase and still to be constructed at the Rubavu District of Rwanda, First Glass Ltd has partnered with shamvik Glasstech, pioneers of the glass industry in India. Established in the year 1973 , with Equity and technical participation with Maul Bros. Inc. USA, Shamvik Glasstech Limited (SGPL), continues to be a pioneer in creating industry-leading technology for the glass container industry. From the day of inception, Shamvik Glasstech has been serving the requirements of the Glass Container Industry both in India and abroad and has always kept pace with the ever growing requirement of the Glass Industry while continuously retaining its position as the No. 1 Company for supply of
Machines and allied equipment in the Domestic Market. SGPL has also been successful in spreading its activities in the Global Market and is currently supplying its products to factories in a number of countries to their utmost satisfaction. The company has strengthened its technical capabilities through collaborations with renowned I.S. machinery manufacturers throughout the world (Maul Technology, Owens-Illinois, Heye Glass, Saint-Gobain to name a few).
